May the Father of tender mercies be with you during this time of bereavement. Beverly was a very special lady. She will be missed by all.

Beverly was a treasured member of our Wednesday Socrates' coffee group. Her humor, intellect, experience and humanity blessed our discourse and she will be very missed. She was the first woman elected to the Alexandria City Council, a distinction of which she never boasted. It was just one of the many ways in which she served the community, effectively and quietly. She was an advocate for justice and I can think of no higher praise. I regret I didn't meet her until about ten years ago. Her kindness to me will always be remembered. I treasure the notes she wrote me during my illness and on the occasion of our 50th wedding anniversary. Bev was a gracious lady.
