Condolence & Memory Journal

Dear Tina and Elaine,
I am so very sorry about your Mom's passing away. I just found out, when I was looking up news on our church Festival this weekend and i saw the announcement on the website.
You know I would have been there, at least at the viewing. I feel just terrible that I missed being there for you.
I know it is very very hard to lose our Mothers; well, for that matter, our Parents. I can only say it does get better with time, the coping part of it.
Of course, we always have Our wonderful, beautiful memories of Our Parents.
May Her Memory be Eternal.

Dear Nick, Elaine, Tina, and Meas,

I am so sorry for your loss. Aunt Bessie will always be a cherished part of my life and I will miss her forever. May you find comfort in the knowledge that your Mom and Dad are together again. I know that God will give you the strength you need at this difficult time.

Dearest Elaine

Our hearts go out to you and your family and this very sad and tragic time. Your Mom was a "super hero" and will leave quite a void in many of our lives. When I lost my own mother, someone close to me sent the below poem. It helped me tremendously so I send it to you only hoping that it will help you too. If either of us can do anything for you, do even think twice about asking.

Love Michael and Bernard

I have simply slipped away into the next room
I am I and you are you
Whatever we were to each other, that we still are
Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way which you always used
Put no difference in your tone, wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together
Pray, smile, think of me; Pray for me
Let my name ever be the household word that it always was
Let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of a shadow
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was
There is unbroken continuity
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight
I am waiting for you for at an interval somewhere very near just around the corner
All is well

Thinking of you and your family during the passing of your MoM. I remember how she helped me pick out the perfect frame for my daughter's birth announcement (Myia Williams). God Bless you and may you take comfort in all the love and smiles she gave this life.
