My time with you was nothing but great memories. I would come home from school and go right to your bed. We watched your shows and eventually learned how to make your tea just right.we had so much fun taking all the mangoes and trying to hide the evidence before we were caught. We got caught every time. I was being pieced back together by the whole family. We laughed so hard trying to be "sneaky" taking all the fruit. Only one person can make eating healthy a wonderful memory! There are many things i could say but the one i should say the most is thank you!!!
Vylma, my best friend from the 1970's and 1970's, we are sorry for the passing of Surinder, a wonderful man. Leigh and Arun were best friends for their young years and we enjoy photos of them together. Just found the birth announcement for Nasya. We are so glad you have grandchildren. We still love your sweet family.
He wasn't just nice to me because I was Arun's friend, but he genuinely showed interest in my life and my famliy. He eventually opened his home to me in my time of need, and on weekends when I wasn't working we would watch football together. He was never shy about anything and if he felt something was wrong he would come out and say it. He always gave me great advice and I credit him for helping me become the man that I am today. I will treasure the time we spent and the conversations that we had. I am proud to have known him.
I met Suri at a business meeting in Springfield, Massachuchetts.
He seemed very curious about American culture and kept me up late as I related my experiences. I learned he and Vylma had recently moved to the US.
Later I visited them in LeFrak City, NYC, and suggested he might want to move to Virginia, where we have trees, grass, a somewhat better living condition.
I arranged for him to interview for a job in DC, and the rest is history.
